Sales Support Representative
We are seeking an experienced Sales Support Representative to join our team. Responsible for assisting RSM in the overall management of designated geographical region to meet or exceed region and company sales goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Fields calls from customers, sales reps or distributors, tracks documents and all pertinent information regarding the inquiry in CRM and/or ERP system.
Facilitates and supports sales to meet or exceed sales goals.
Creates business opportunities and drives sales through daily rep/customer communication.
Provides awareness to rep/customer on all product and pricing promotions.
Provides pricing and availability for all catalog items and follows up with rep on securing order.
Supports rep agency with ongoing training on how to do business with Ericson and utilize all systems.
Completes all new customer paperwork completely and files appropriately. Maintains and updates customer database information.
Works with production to ensure lead times for all products. Follows up w/customers on all quotes prior to expiration date to facilitate an order or close the quote.
Resolves any inconsistencies between order and quote with distributor, RSM, or the customer and ensure all order information is complete and accurate.
Reviews materials inventory for availability prior to commitment date being established with customer.
Places stock orders for shipment directly from inventory when available. Checks product availability and verifies with appropriate personnel at the warehouse facility.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 3 years work experience performing customer service in a manufacturing environment
Experience in the electrical industry strongly preferred
Experience driving and managing sales results preferred
ERP database and CRM database experience preferred
Ability to actively problem solve and remain calm under pressure
High school diploma or equivalent required with additional education preferred
