MAIN JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Mechanical Design of Machinery - design of industrial machinery assemblies and parts using both AutoCAD and SolidWorks drafting tools
Bills of Materials - Selection of components and entry of parts into production system used for planning and job management
Production Support - troubleshoot issues, identify drawing errors, assist in questions related to machine designs
Documentation Creation/Management - development of parts catalogs, spare parts lists, preventative maintenance, etc. and assembly into single concise document for customers.
Change Orders - complete drawing updates and process engineering change orders
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Process Improvement and Standards development
Field Service and Sales Support
Assembly of Equipment
Machinery Audits
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
4 year degree in mechanical engineering
1-5 years or of experience working on industrial machinery design
Demonstrated competency with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorksEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
