Human Resource Manager

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
We are eastside manufacturer that seeks a Human Resources Manager that will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of human resources within all functional areas.
MAJOR Responsibilities:
o Provide support in all functional areas within Human Resources including, compensation, benefits administration and design, performance management, organizational development.
o Oversee the design, development and administration of all employee benefit plans.
o Respond to sensitive and personnel issues and concerns raised by all levels of employees in a confidential, timely and objective manner.
o Maintain constant awareness of general employee issues/concerns and recommends solutions to management to ensure positive morale.
o Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs.
o Actively manage/participate in the safety program(s).
o Advise management on applicable federal and state fair employment practices/laws to ensure compliance.
o Ensure that HR systems, files, documentation and communications are current and comply with applicable laws.
o Develop, administer and manage a full compensation structure to ensure competitive stance in the marketplace.
o Provide coaching and support to other members of the HR Team.
o Manage the annual performance and salary review process.
o Oversee HRIS system and the integrity of the date within the system.
o Perform other duties as assigned.
o Analyze turnover trends and work with management to develop strategies to address any areas of concern.
EDUCATION/
Experience:
o 5+ years in an HR Generalist capacity, including some supervisory responsibility
o Experience should include compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, organizational development and talent acquisition
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
o Strong presentation skills
o Must be able to work independently with little instructions
o Proactive and takes ownership in providing timely, accurate results
o Must have strong knowledge of current federal, state and local HR-related laws and regulations.
o Knowledge and experience using HRIS systems, especially ADP
o Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels in the organization both written and verbal
o Must be self-motivated, flexible

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
