Converts inquiries into sales by providing outbound as well as inbound telephone calls. Provides additional sales as Inside Sales Representative. Creates appointments for Regional Sales Managers and/or closes sales via phone. Sells products by implementing sales plans.
Essential Functions
Advises present or prospective customers by providing outbound calls and answering incoming calls on a rotating basis; operating telephone equipment, automatic dialing systems, and other telecommunications technologies.
Influences customers to buy or retain product or service by following a prepared script to give product reference information.
Qualify assigned leads; develop relationship with prospect.
Maintain assigned contacts in CRM database.
Quote and close assigned opportunities.
Contact existing customers to generate additional sales (parts, service, replacement/new equipment).
Learning and understanding current products and new product developments.
Work with sales representatives to develop quotes to meet customer needs.
Provide backup to Inside Sales Coordinator as needed.
Attend and actively participate in Sales Meetings.
Documents transactions by completing forms and record logs.
Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications / Education
2
years of sales experience in a similar role. - 4 year degree - fully computer literate (Microsoft Office, CRM) - Persuasion, Telephone Sales, Customer Focus, Data Entry Skills, Selling to Customer Needs, Closing Skills, Telephone Skills, Organization, Energy Level, Persistence, Product Knowledge
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
