A leading company providing automation solutions for manufacturers engaged in production brazing and soldering of valve systems is seeking a skilled individual to join their team. Headquartered in Lake County they have satellite locations and distributions worldwide.
Essential
Responsibilities:
Use machining equipment including lathe, milling machine, and radial drill necessary to fabricate plates, manifolds, bracketing, connecting and other support devices needed.
Work from engineering and customer specifications, blueprints, wiring diagrams, written and verbal instructions to plan device placement and other assembly operations.
Prepare steel and metal supporting structures and fixturing to prepare for component mounting.
Perform pipefitting, tube bending and assembly of a variety of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Run milling, lathe, radial drill, drill press, saws and other equipment to assist in construction of machines.
Diagnose problems on finished units or on-site customer repairs. Replace failed components and rework defects.
Minimum
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
3 years' experience as a machine builder of automated equipment.
Knowledge of machining parts, electrical wiring, pipe bending and fitting, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and blueprints.
Basic Mig or Tig welding experience.
Ability to use hand tools, scales, micrometers and other measuring instruments
$17.94/hr
