University Hospitals Lake West Medical Center is seeking a full time Acute Care Surgeon who would also like to provide Critical Care coverage at our verified community LVL 3 Trauma Center in Willoughby Hills, Ohio. The 237-bed hospital features expert care in multiple specialties, including vascular, cardiac and thoracic and is Lake County s only Trauma Center. The physician would split time as an acute care surgeon and critical care intensivist in the multi-specialty ICU. The position also holds potential for the Trauma Medical Directorship for the hospital.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified or Board-eligible in General Surgery
  • Active Ohio Medical License in good standing upon effective date of employment

All experience levels will be considered for this position. Requirements include ABMS-BC/BE in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
