1K a year Description This position is FT /40 hrs week, 8 hour days, rotating every other weekend and holiday.
starting time for day shift is 6 AM -2:
30 PM.
Position Summary/Essential Duties:
1.
Responsible for maintaining overall inventory, and picking up and replenishing supplies, at assigned hospital work areas.
Track all related information using handheld computers.
2.
Responsible for keeping supply areas neat and orderly in order to permit the accurate counting of supplies and the identification and removal of outdated supplies.
3.
Serves as primary customer service liaison between Material Distribution and the nursing divisions/units relative to Periodic Area Replenishment (PAR) items, and is responsible for maintaining communications with designated nursing representatives in order to ensure timely and accurate information flow regarding shortages, outages, overstock, and other inventory problems and concerns.
Accurate maintenance of shelf tag labels noting pertinent item information.
Qualifications Education High School diploma or GED required Experience and Knowledge:
Proficient oral and written communication skills required.
Stock room, inventory, hospital, and/or customer service experience preferred.
Special Skills & Equipment Knowledge:
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Demonstrated ability to use PCs and general office equipment (i.
e.
printers, copy machine, FAX machine, etc.
) required.
Experience with hand held computers preferred.
Proficient oral and written communication skills required.
Stock room, receiving, hospital, and/or customer service experience preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
