9K a year 9 days ago 9 days ago 9 days ago We are currently searching for a Production Scheduler whois responsible for scheduling and coordinating the flow of work within or between departments of the manufacturing department to expedite production.

Responsibilities:
Specific duties will include but are not limited to:
Determines and prepares production schedule to meet the delivery demands optimizing production workflow.
Investigates and analyzes production capacities to establish the proper time frame.
Will assist the Master Scheduler and serve as a backup to them.
Coordinate with other departments regarding order status, shipping dates, product availability and back orders Manage the order activities involved in the receipt, verification and processing of changes in ERP environment.
Direct and coordinate the processing of work orders.
Respond to inquiries regarding status of orders and resolve customer order difficulties.
Determine stocking and replenishment levels for min/max items.
Coordinate with Maintenance to schedule down time.
Coordinate with Engineering to schedule R&D projects Identify concerns with material availability that can impact scheduling.
Maintain excel spreadsheets.
Handle unforeseen problems in the production process that may require a reallocation of resources to different areas.

Requirements:
Preferred Associate degree preferred.
5 years ERP, BOM's APICS Certification a plus Minimum Requirements 3 to 5 years of prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficient with Word and Excel High school diploma Job Type:
