Fastest Labs Willoughby is seeking a hard-working and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Rockstar Customer Service Specialist & Lab Technician.
In this role, you will be responsible for specimen collection and ensuring the accurate handling of specimens and paperwork.
We are looking for someone who understands the importance of exceptional customer service, possesses strong attention to detail, and works well with others.
No specific certifications or technical experience are required as we will provide training.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Collect various types of specimens from clients, following quality control procedures and proper labeling/documentation of all types of samples ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results.
Prepare specimens for transport to our labs, following established protocols and guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of specimen collection and handling, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, addressing clients' questions and contributing to a professional and friendly environment.
Collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, labs, employers, and court personnel to ensure efficient specimen collection and processing as well as the reporting of test results.
Assist in monitoring inventory levels of testing supplies, notifying appropriate personnel when supplies need replenishment.
Desired Qualifications/Attributes:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in customer service and/or conflict resolution.
Previous experience in drug and alcohol collections not required but preferred.
Excellent computer skills; proficiency in Excel, Word, QuickBooks Online, and email programs.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established protocols.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and maintain positive relationships.
Comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy.
Job Requirements:
Must have a reliable vehicle, proof of current insurance and a valid driver's license.
Must be able to arrive at Willoughby or Solon clinic within 30 minutes of being called for after-hours testing.
Must be comfortable handling urine, saliva, hair, and nail specimens.
Ability to lift 25 pounds.
Must pass a background check.
