Full-time Full Job Description Production Admin (Full-Time) WEISS North America, Inc - Willoughby, OH (Cleveland, OH) Hourly/Non-Exempt Job Description - Production Admin This position will support the Production Coordinator on tasks relating to production planning.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment with a good mechanical aptitude, great organizational skills, and proficiency using Microsoft Office software are essential for this position.
This position will report directly to the Production Coordinator.
Job Responsibilities - Production Admin Support the Engineering and Production Planning departments in various aspects Collaborate with engineering to construct proper bills of materials and router steps for manufactured products using the company's ERP Navision software program Construct and maintain revision levels for custom and standard chassis builds within the company's ERP program as required Construct cataloged documentation and maintain for custom/standard assemblies Create and manage parts lists for all custom/standard assemblies Assist in maintaining links to proper revision level drawings within the company's ERP system Manage the capture of custom project photos and file management for all custom chassis builds Work closely with existing and future outside suppliers as required Assist in tracking project statuses and communicate current project status updates at weekly backlog meetings as needed Communicate with all departments, customers, and suppliers efficiently Follow-up with sales and/or customers on added value orders as required Assist in maintaining the highest quality of product provided by Weiss North America Track production statuses for all orders Assist purchasing by obtaining pricing, place orders, and follow up on material, weldments, fabrications, etc.
Perform other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as directed.
Desired Skills & Experience - Production Admin Education:
High school degree or GED required Minimum of 1-2 years of experience manufacturing, engineering, or sales assist environment Strong desire to learn and work with a fast-growing, high-tech leader in the field of factory automation equipment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks with a sense of urgency Well organized with an aptitude for details Effective verbal and written communication skills Have the ability to multi-task and produce quality results under pressure Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
) Must be self-starter and able to work independently with little supervision Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP is a plus, but not required Must be hands on and have the ability to understand and demonstrate our products effectively PI202186432.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
