Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Cashier/Receptionist to join our team.
As a Cashier/Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing sales transactions, and assisting with various administrative tasks.
This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
Duties:
- Greet customers and provide a positive first impression - Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems - Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments - Assist customers in locating products and provide product information - Maintain a clean and organized checkout area - Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual - Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving customer complaints - Maintain knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and store policies - Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets -Accounts Payable Knowledge and experience a plus Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred - Strong mathematical skills for cash handling and retail math calculations - Proficiency in operating cash registers or POS systems - Basic knowledge of electronics sales is a plus - Bilingual proficiency is an advantage - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills - Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays At our company, we value our employees' contributions and offer competitive pay rates.
